Mahatma Cottage is a tourist accommodation located in Kubu, Tulamben, Bali. The location of this site is in a hilly area with unique land topography and vegetation types. A challenge to be able to combine environmental conditions with a natural view and a modern design without leaving Balinese characteristics in it.

Detail Description

Mahatma Cottage consists of 32 existing room units with different types, Mahatma Cottage improves its facilities by adding several building functions such as a restaurant, lounge, pool, gym. The extension area is 2300m2 with the contour of the land descending down towards a valley with a distant view of the sea. There are two building blocks, the first is the building for the restaurant and gym, and the second is the lounge and pool area. Maximized opening so that the feeling of the area in the building can blend with the large garden area.

The use of material dominated by red brick responds to existing buildings and raises Balinese accents in a more modern composition.
